The Difference Between PVC Crusted Board And PVC Co-extruded Board
Aug 15, 2022
Both PVC crusted board and PVC co-extruded board are high-density foamed sheets. Both are very hard in appearance but are different in the production process. The co-extruded board needs two machines to operate together to produce, and the skinned board can be produced by ordinary machines, so in terms of cost, the PVC co-extruded board is relatively high.
The crusted board can be painted, while the co-extruded board does not need to be painted because the surface is too smooth to be painted, and the paint and impurities cannot be adsorbed on its surface.
The PVC crust sheet is a matte finish, while the co-extruded sheet is a glossy finish that looks like a mirror.
PVC co-extrusion board has the properties of light-specific gravity, high strength, corrosion resistance, flame retardant, moisture resistance, sound insulation, heat insulation, and insulation. It also has good machinability and can be processed by sawing, drilling, planing, nailing, welding, gluing, and thermoforming. PVC board is widely used in PVC building decoration board, decoration, PVC kitchen board, PVC bathroom board, the partition of rooms and offices, PVC furniture manufacturing, etc. It can also be used in transportation, the chemical industry, and other industries.
Through the differences and characteristics of the above-mentioned PVC crusted board and PVC co-extruded board, it is convenient to choose the appropriate board according to your own needs.
