MadeExpo, the Milan Architecture and Construction Exhibition, is one of the two flagship events organized by Federlegno Arredo (the Italian Wood and Furniture Association), standing alongside the world-renowned Salone del Mobile.Milano, which boasts a 56‑year illustrious history. While Salone focuses on furniture and décor, MadeExpo is dedicated to building materials, construction production technologies, equipment, and integrated system solutions closely related to architectural design and engineering. Since 2013, the exhibition has been held as a biennial event in odd‑numbered years.

Salone del Mobile.Milano is widely celebrated as the "Oscar" and "Olympic" event of the global home design and furnishing industry-a sacred gathering place for the world's home design professionals and industry stakeholders to connect and exchange ideas. While the show has long been a highly desired platform for Chinese professional home furnishing manufacturers to exhibit, it has not yet officially opened its doors to Chinese exhibitors since its inception. Nevertheless, it attracts thousands of Chinese trade visitors every year.
