What are the coloring methods of PVC profiles

1. Overall coloring. The method is to mix coloring pigments with PVC profile powder for co-extrusion to obtain an integrally colored colored PVC plastic profile. Using one of the methods, if the general dye is used for coloring, due to the extremely poor UV resistance of the dye, it will fade seriously after 2 years outdoors, and this method is gradually withdrawing from the market.
2. Composite co-extrusion. This method is a method of compoundly extruding a layer of colored film during the extrusion process of pvc profiles. Moreover, different profiles require different molds and masterbatches of different colors, which requires a large investment, and it is difficult to recycle qualified products.
3. Cover with color film. This method is to make a colored plastic film in advance, on a special laminating machine, through the mechanical film method of gluing and heating, and stick the film on the surface of the pvc plastic profile. Due to the complex construction process and equipment, the production yield is not high and the cost is high.
4. Paint spraying. It can be sprayed on-line during the production process of profiles, or can be sprayed on the surface or overall in a special spraying factory. It is the most potential coloring product for pvc plastic profiles.
