Production process
1. Raw material preparation: The key raw materials for producing SPC flooring include stone plastic composite materials, UV coatings, filling materials and pulp, etc. These raw materials need to be prepared and mixed according to specific formulas and proportions. Stone plastic composite materials are usually composed of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) resin, stone powder, stabilizers and other additives.
2. Stone plastic composite material production: The preparation of stone plastic composite materials is one of the key steps in the production of SPC flooring. Stone plastic composite materials are formed by mixing raw materials such as PVC resin and stone powder, and adding stabilizers and other additives. This process is carried out through an extruder, extruding the mixture into a board shape, and covering the board surface with a color film and a wear-resistant layer, and then cooling and cutting to form the required stone plastic composite material board.
3. UV coating treatment: UV treatment is a key step in laminating the stone plastic composite material layer and the UV coating together. At this stage, the stone plastic composite material board and the UV coating are laminated through a hot pressing process. The stone plastic composite material board provides stability and durability as the bottom layer, while the UV coating provides protection and aesthetic effects.
4. Slitting: This process mainly uses multi-blade saw equipment to slit the original board to form a specific size of floor to meet market demand.
5. Grooving: This process is divided into two steps: longitudinal and horizontal. The groover is mainly used to groove the edge of the floor to form a specific shape of groove for floor installation.
6. Quality inspection: Strict inspection and quality control during the production process are important links to ensure that SPC floors meet standards and quality requirements. This process mainly uses visual inspection equipment to conduct real-time online inspection of the floor surface, mainly used to detect whether there are bubbles, scratches, creases, alternating colors, printed fish eyes, base material impurities, bumps, holes and other defects on the floor surface. Manufacturers are also required to implement a strict quality management system to ensure the consistency and reliability of each batch of products.
7. Silent film coating: This process uses a floor laminating machine to coat the back of the floor with a layer of silent film, which is made of IXPE, which is used to reduce sound and noise after the floor is actually installed.
8. Carton packaging: This process uses a floor packaging machine to box the floor, which mainly includes the steps of boxing, placing instructions, and extruding labels.
9. Palletizing: This process uses a truss robot to palletize the boxed floor and put a cover on it to protect the floor packaging.
10. Wrapping film and placing corner guards: This process uses a wrapping film machine and a robot to wrap the finished floor with plastic wrap and place corner guards on the side to further protect the floor packaging.
11. Taping: This process uses a threading tape machine to tape the finished floor horizontally and vertically to fix the entire finished floor for later storage and transportation.
12. Warehousing: The finished product with tape is directly stored in the warehouse for transportation.
The production process of SPC flooring involves multiple links, and the rigorous execution of each link is crucial to ensure product quality and consistency.
