Installation notes for a lasting joint
PVC expands and contracts with temperature, so every mitered joint must be both glued and mechanically fastened-glue alone will not hold long term. Use a quality instant adhesive or PVC cement, support the full length of the moulding when cutting, and fasten with stainless steel or hot-dipped galvanized nails to prevent rust staining on the white surface.
