Product Introduction
PVC ceiling panels are lightweight rigid plastic panels designed as an affordable alternative to gypsum board ceilings, mineral fiber tiles, and wood plank ceilings in moisture-exposed rooms. Made from rigid PVC with a closed-cell foam or hollow-chamber structure, they are waterproof through their full thickness, will not rot or support mold growth, and arrive with a factory-finished white surface that needs no painting.
The product competes on two fronts. Against gypsum board, it wins on installation speed and moisture immunity-no taping, no mudding, no sanding, no painting, and no callbacks when the bathroom above leaks. Screw directly to wood or metal furring strips for a fixed ceiling. Drop into a standard T-bar grid for a suspended ceiling with plenum access. Tongue-and-groove edge versions clip together for a seamless surface without visible fasteners.
No Painting, No Sanding, No Dust
A gypsum ceiling generates days of dust and drying time between taping, mudding, sanding, priming, and painting. PVC panels go up in hours with no wet trades and no dust-the finished ceiling is ready the moment the last panel is fastened.
Installation notes
PVC panels expand and contract slightly with temperature. Leave a 3–5 mm gap at the perimeter for movement and cover it with trim. For direct screw fixing, pre-drill holes slightly larger than the screw shank to allow for expansion. Use stainless steel screws in wet areas. Panels can be cut with a fine-tooth saw or scored with a utility knife and snapped. All standard woodworking adhesives and sealants are compatible; test a small area before full application.
