Introduction
In the course of human civilization, buildings in cities and rural areas have continuously "grown" and "evolved," much like living organisms with flesh and blood. Urban regeneration is a dynamic process of engaging with the organic growth of cities. Urban administrators, developers, designers, and builders - each from their unique perspectives - are collectively involved in the organic renewal of the current stock era, focusing on issues such as building adaptive retrofitting, sustainable technologies and materials, and opportunities brought by technological advancements.

Centered around the exhibition theme of "Regeneration · New Construction," this expo will present a series of vivid cases in a more professional, in-depth, and interactive manner. It will explore how innovative design concepts can uncover organic pathways for urban regeneration, how green solutions can empower sustainable urban renewal, and how smart building technologies are enabling ever more possibilities - collectively showcasing a vision of an ideal future home.
Based on the "Regeneration" theme, BAU CHINA will focus on urban regeneration practices and research from a global perspective, bringing together diverse participants in urban renewal - administrators, developers, designers, and builders - to actively promote cross-sector dialogue and jointly explore the challenges and opportunities of future urban regeneration.
Based on the "New Construction" theme, the expo will actively respond to and present China's new requirements for high-quality urban development in the future. Special attention will be given to low-carbon explorations in new buildings and sustainable renewal of retrofitted buildings, showcasing organic explorations from different perspectives - including development models and pathways, design concepts and methods, and material R&D and applications.
