Exhibition Introduction
The Construction, Interior Design & Exhibition (CIDEX), organized by Dhahran International Exhibitions Company (DIEC), is one of Saudi Arabia's leading events for construction, building materials, and interior design. Held annually, CIDEX covers products and services spanning residential, hospitality, and office construction, design, and fit-out.
As the premier platform for Saudi Arabia's building and interior design sectors, CIDEX brings together global innovators, top-tier developers, architects, and decision-makers driving the Kingdom's transformation under Vision 2030. From smart cities and sustainable materials to luxury interior design and cutting-edge construction technologies, this exhibition serves as a gateway to one of the world's fastest-growing markets.

The 2025 edition of CIDEX attracted 350 exhibitors, including over 100 Chinese companies such as Gree, Newpearl, and Eagle Brand. The 28th edition, taking place from December 14 to 17, 2026, at the Dhahran International Exhibition Center, is expected to host more than 400 exhibitors, welcome over 18,000 visitors, and span an exhibition area exceeding 7,200 square meters.
Saudi Arabia's construction market is in a phase of rapid expansion, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of approximately 5% projected from 2024 to 2030 and the market size expected to surpass USD 80 billion by 2030. As the largest construction market in the Middle East, accounting for roughly 45% of the regional market share, the Kingdom is poised to witness a wave of infrastructure investment exceeding USD 3 trillion over the next decade, making it a strategically critical market for global contractors and building material suppliers.
Currently, Saudi Arabia's domestic building materials market still relies heavily on imports, which account for 40-45% of supply. This presents a rare golden opportunity for numerous construction engineering and building material companies. From cement and steel to advanced construction machinery, the Kingdom requires substantial imports. In the coming years, Saudi Arabia will host multiple world-class events, including the 2027 AFC Asian Cup, the 2029 Asian Winter Games, the 2034 Asian Games, the 2034 FIFA World Cup, and the 2030 World Expo. The construction of these venues will undoubtedly bring further opportunities to the Saudi building sector, as well as excellent business prospects for international building material enterprises.
Saudi Arabia's homeownership rate has been steadily rising and is expected to exceed 70% in the coming years. With the emergence of residential apartments and the expansion of modern infrastructure, demand in the Kingdom's interior decoration market is projected to grow further. Data indicates that Saudi Arabia's home furnishing market was valued at USD 4.49 billion in 2024 and is forecast to reach USD 5.98 billion by 2029, registering a CAGR of 5.91% during the forecast period of 2024-2029. With high per capita GDP, the nation's pursuit of high-quality living also creates significant opportunities for home products and decoration, including high-end homeware, home textiles, kitchen products, sanitary ware, furniture, and decorative items.
