The box also features an entry and exit door with four interchangeable panels at different heights – as puppies grow, you can remove panels to lower the threshold, letting them hop in and out on their own. Assembly is straightforward with the included instruction manual; no special tools are required. The smooth PVC surface resists moisture, stains, and bacteria, making cleanup as simple as a wipe-down. When not in use, the panels can be disassembled and stacked for minimal storage space. An additional puppy pen is available separately to give pups more room to explore.

Anti-Crush Rail - Critical Safety Feature

The anti-crush rail is designed to create a small gap between the mother's body and the side walls of the box. When the mother lies down or moves during sleep, this rail prevents her from pressing puppies against the wall - a common cause of accidental suffocation. This feature is essential for safe whelping, particularly in the first days after birth.

How It Works

The rail sits at an offset from the panel surface. When the mother lies against the side, her body contacts the rail first, leaving a safe air gap between her back and the wall - enough room for puppies to remain undamaged.

Assembly Note - Crush Rail Screws

When screwing the nails into the posts for the crush rail connector clamps, refer to the picture in the instruction manual before proceeding. Get the screw totally straight - otherwise you can damage the channel that the panels slide into. Damage to this channel can compromise panel fitting and the overall structure.

Adjustable Entry Door for Growing Puppies

The entry/exit door features four removable door panels at different heights. As puppies grow and become more mobile, you can progressively remove panels to lower the barrier - allowing them to easily jump in and out of the whelping box on their own.
