Saudi Arabia is one of the wealthiest countries in the world, with its economy heavily reliant on oil. However, in recent years, it has vigorously pursued economic diversification policies. Under the influence of Saudi Arabia's 2030 Vision, the 2024 Saudi Building Materials and Infrastructure Exhibition (SIE) can provide exhibitors with opportunities to expand their market in Saudi Arabia. At the exhibition, you can develop potential customers, meet new customers and market distributors to achieve sales goals, launch new products, and expand your business scope.
Saudi Arabia is currently the largest contracted engineering market in the Gulf region, and traditional livelihood and industrial projects have always been the focus of the country's infrastructure construction. Especially since the introduction of the "2030 Vision", various government departments and major enterprises have increased the pace of infrastructure construction to implement this strategy. Saudi Arabia has over $1.15 trillion in future projects underway, making it the largest market among all Gulf Cooperation Council member countries. Based on current known projects and estimates for future projects, Saudi Arabia's construction and transportation industries are valued at over 900 billion US dollars.

Mega projects such as NEOM New City ($500 billion), QIDDIYA Entertainment City ($4 billion), and Red Sea Tourism ($10 billion) have been launched one after another. NEOM is the largest infrastructure project, equipped with sub cities such as Oxagon, Trojena, and The Line; The Diriyah Gate in Riyadh is another larger project with an investment of approximately $20 billion. These projects are all planned to be completed by 2030.
According to statistics, the domestic building materials market in Saudi Arabia still relies on foreign imports, accounting for 40-45% of the total. According to Masin Hamad, the general manager of a tile factory in Dammam, the demand for cement, tiles, marble, and other building materials in the domestic market has significantly increased due to the large-scale infrastructure projects launched by the Saudi government and private sector. Similarly, the huge demand has also given rise to opportunities for building new tile and stone factories.
Saudi Arabia is the largest economy in the Middle East region. For Saudi Arabia, the booming development of the renewable energy industry and the gradual replacement of fossil fuels are the trend.
