The difference between PP sheet and PVC sheet

1. Color difference:

PP materials cannot be made transparent, and the commonly used colors are primary colors (natural colors of PP materials), beige gray, porcelain white, milky white, etc. PVC sheet is rich in color, generally gray, light gray, white, yellow and white, transparent and so on.

2. Weight difference:

PP sheet has a lower density than PVC sheet, and PVC has a higher density, so PVC is heavier.

3. Acid and alkali resistance:

The acid and alkali resistance of PVC is better than that of PP board, but the texture is brittle and hard, anti-ultraviolet radiation, can withstand climate change for a long time, and is not flammable.

4. Price difference:

Compared with the price of PP and PVC, PP is cheaper, and PVC has a higher density, so PVC is heavier and more expensive.

5. Application scope:

A. PP sheets are mainly used in acid and alkali resistant equipment, environmental protection equipment, waste water, exhaust gas discharge equipment, washing towers, clean rooms, semiconductor factories and related industries. Among them, PP thick plates are widely used in stamping plates and punch pads board etc. B. PVC sheet is mainly used in building materials, packaging, medicine and many other industries.
